1月5日，為敏卓林佛學院的生日（校慶）。 是以執持敏卓林達瑪師利傳承的敏林堪千仁波切，多年來皆以1月5日為其誕生之日，乃因堪千仁波切認為自己與佛學院實為一體；他轉世於此生的最重要任務，無疑便是在此新世紀，能為寧瑪教法興盛，及為佛學院培育與時俱進的未來龍象。仁波切以此為己任及持續努力！
在佛學院的校舍與大殿的主要硬體逐一完成後；如今的敏卓林佛學院儼然已有一番新氣象！故於教學的深廣度上，仁波切也努力給予上乘的師資，以及擴展僧眾的視野。
所謂十年樹木，百年樹人。⋯⋯
未來，會一直來；而我們繼續努力著！於此時刻，願敏卓林佛學院與仁波切生日快樂！

January 5th is the birthday of Mindrolling Buddhist College. For years, H.H.Minling Khenchen Rinpoche as the holder of Dharmashri lineage has claimed January 5thas his birthday because Khenchen Rinpoche thinks he and Mindrolling Buddhist College have united as one. The most important task of his reincarnation in this life is to make Ningmapa’s teachings flourish, and train the elite for dharma .Minling Khenchen Rinpoche takes this task as his responsibility and work hard on it.
After the main construction of the Mindrolling Buddhist College were completed one by one, now the college has own a new atmosphere. To advance the quality of teaching, Rinpoche strives to provide superior teachers and more learning subject , also expand the vision of the Sangha .
It takes ten years to grow a tree, and it takes a lifetime to educate a person.
Time never stops, and we will continue to work hard for dharma !
At this moment, Let’s offer the supreme respect and best wishes to Mindrolling Buddhist College and Minling Khenchen Rinpoche a happy birthday.

愛自己的一個很重要的前提是： 心在此處而非他方 。 每當我們的心悄悄地溜走時，就已非安住，已跑到他方。那或是在貪瞋痴慢等諸想望下的牽引，然而，不管那種牽引是有形或無形，有位禪師說：「魂要附體，體要安居，心要從容。」此語，便直指了「心在此」的根源。我們的心如果七上八下的，很可能慾望與渴望已把心魂給勾走了 。 愛自己就是喜歡當下的自己！ 肯接納與陪伴自己，不怕孤寂，能瞭解自己的內在、並與內在和諧自在的相處，才不會有遠處的風景比當下的自己更重要的謬思 ！

敏林堪千仁波切的開示 : 斷器三過 :器汙、器漏、器覆

行者應具正確的聞法方式 : 故需記住聞法時所應避免的行為，其含括法器的三種過失、六種垢染與五不執。

「斷器三過」：

一為不聽教誨，正如同一個上下顛倒之鍋(覆器) : ；二為缺損漏孔之鍋( 漏器 )，無法涵納所聽所聞；三為含毒垢之垢器 ，即所聽所聞參雜混合著負面情緒。

【上下顛倒之鍋( 器皿 ) ─ 耳不注如覆器之過 】

聽聞教法應當專心，莫讓心有旁鶩。否則即如上下顛倒之覆器，水將往外流盡。雖然身在該處，但實際上並未聽入任何法教。

【缺損漏孔之漏器 ─ 意不持如漏器之過 】
倘若僅是聽聞，卻沒有記下或了解所聞法教，將像漏孔的鍋器( 器皿 )，再多的液體注入其內也無法保留。不論聽聞多少教法，永遠無從吸收或付諸實踐。

【含垢之毒器─雜煩惱如毒器之過】
倘若學習的態度錯謬，諸如渴望成為大人物或成名，再或心中充滿五毒，那麼佛法不僅無法幫助自心，也將如同甘露傾入毒器之中，變成完全不是佛法。

故云:耳不注如覆器之過、意不持如漏器之過、雜煩惱如毒器(垢器)之過。

只是身在此處卻沒有專注聞法而心思混亂、胡言亂語與道聽塗說、並東張西望是無益的。聆聽教法之際，甚至應即刻停止持咒與祈禱、以及從事任何可能會令人稱許的行為。

當你依此確實地聞法之後，牢記所聞並不斷付諸實踐是十分重要的。

上師教導弟子如何聞法、如何應用佛法、如何放棄消極負面作為、如何從事與實踐正向積極的作為，全有賴於弟子自身能記取不忘的付諸實踐。單只聽聞佛法或許能有些許利益，但除非你牢記所聞，否則將無法自教法中的文字或教義得獲任何智識，而如同未曾聞法一般。

再若你牢記所聞但混雜負面情緒，如此將永遠不會是真正的佛法。

一如無上尊貴的達波仁波切所言：「除非你如理如法的實踐佛法，否則佛法本身將成為罪惡輪迴之源。」

擺脫自身對上師與佛法錯謬的想法，並且不批評毀謗金剛師兄弟與同伴、不驕矜及蔑視、捨棄所有邪見，因為這些無不導致淪入惡道輪迴。

The right conduct while listening to teachings is described in terms of what to avoid and what to do.

What to Avoid-Conduct to avoid includes the three defects of the pot, the six stains and the five wrong ways of remembering. 

The Three Defects of the Pot 

Not to listen is to be like a pot turned upside down. Not to be able to retain what you hear is to be like a pot with a hole in it. To mix negative emotions with what you hear is to be like a pot with poison in it.

The Upside-Down Pot

When you are listening to theteachings, listen to what is being said and do not let yourself be distracted by anything else. Otherwise you will be like an upside-down pot on which liquid is being poured. Although you are physically present, you do not hear a word of the teaching. 

The Pot with the Hole

If you just listen without remembering anything that you hear or understand, you will be like a pot with a leak: however much liquid is poured into it, nothing can stay. No matter how many teachings you hear, you can never assimilate them or put them into practice.

The Pot containing Poison

If you listen to the teachings with the wrong attitude, such as desire to become great or famous, or a mind full of the five poisons, the Dharma will not only fail to help your mind; it will also be changed into something that is not Dharma at all, like nectar poured into a pot containing poison.

It is no good listening with only your body physically present, while your mind wanders off after your thoughts and your speech lets loose a rich store of gossip, saying whatever you like and looking around everywhere. When listening to teachings, you should even stop reciting mantras and prayers, or whatever other meritorious activities you may be doing.

After you have listened properly to a teaching in this way, it is then also important to retain the meaning of what has been said without ever forgetting it, and to continually put it into practice. 

The teacher gives the disciple instructions explaining how to listen to the Dhrama and how to apply it, how to give up negative actions, how to perform positive ones, and how to practise. It is upto the disciple to remember those instructions, forgetting nothing; to put them into practice; and to realize them. 

Just listening to the Dharma is perhaps of some benefit by itself. But unless you remember what you hear, you will not have the slightest knowledge of either the words or the meaning of the teaching- which is no different from not having heard it at all. 

If you remember the teachings but mix them with your negative emotions, they will never be the pure Dharma. As the peerless Dagpo Rinpoche says: Unless you practise Dharma according to the Dharma,Dharma itself becomes the cause of evil rebirths.            

 Rid yourself of every wrong thought concerning the teacher and the Dharma, do not criticize or abuse your spiritual brothers and companions, be free of pride, and contempt, abandon all bad thoughts.For all these cause lower rebirths.

Ngagyur Nyingma College, an Institute of Higher Buddhist Philosophy and research under Wogmin Ogyen Mindrolling Monastery in India resumes for its new Academic year.

At the annual award day, along with results and certificates, recruiting new Administrator and exchange of other responsibility holders were also done.

Khenpo Karma Thrinly is new president followed by khenpo Sonam Rabten as deputy Chair Person. Lopon Tshering Phuntsho as secretary, Khenpo Jurmey Phelgyed and lopon Tashi Paljor as Cashier. Khenpo Sherab Gyatso, lopon Ngawang Theckchok and lopon Ugyen Tshering as Examiner which makes the complete administration team for a year.

Ngagyur Nyingma College is proud to have 14 of our students graduated after nine consecutive years. They will now serve as teachers in various monasteries in India, Nepal, Bhutan and rest of the world. We offer our warm Greetings and prayers.
